SERVICE LOCATIONS
High Holy Days services will be split between the Civic Center Exhibit Hall and our Rodef Sholom Sanctuary. You do not need to register to attend in person services, with the exception of Erev Rosh Hashanah, where we will offer two identical back-to-back services in the Sanctuary, in order to accommodate all in our community who wish to attend in person. Registration for all other services is only required if you are planning on joining us virtually. Please check our calendar listing for the services, registrations and links. Smaller gatherings such as our Junior Jews and Family services, will be held at our new synagogue.
HOLIDAY CHALLAH
Congregant and volunteer, Chef Jeff Kirshbaum, is in our Mitzvah Kitchen and baking round challah for Rosh Hashanah! All Mitzvah Kitchen proceeds go to support youth programming at Congregation Rodef Sholom. Orders are $6 per loaf and are non-gluten free.
The order deadline has passed: Friday, September 20
For those who placed an order, Challah Pick-Up is on: Tuesday, October 1, between 10am and 2pm (Rodef Sholom offices)
MEMORIAL ROLL FORM
We honor our family and friends who have died by bringing together their names on our *virtual Memorial Roll, which is displayed at Yizkor (memorial service) on Yom Kippur afternoon. All names included previously will be included this year as well. The deadline to add names of loved ones is Monday, September 23.
*To uphold our commitment to sustainability, our Memorial Roll will be displayed on a screen that welcomes you outside the service, with downloadable copies available as well.
VOLUNTEER FOR THE HIGH HOLY DAYS
We are looking for congregants who can help create a welcoming and inclusive environment at all High Holy Days services. Please click here for more information and to sign up.
MITZVAH MOMENTS
Marin County's food banks, shelters, and soup kitchens rely on the donations they receive from our community to keep their shelves stocked. Bring non-perishable food to donate to the SF-Marin Food Bank and JFCS Food Pantry barrels, during High Holy Day services. Barrels will be available outside of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.
VIRTUAL SERVICES & PROGRAMS
Advance registration is required. Zoom links will be emailed to all registrants in advance of the service or program.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE
To honor our commitment to sustainability, all High Holy Day tickets, information, and order and volunteer forms are available ONLINE ONLY. Printed materials will be available in limited quantities at in-person services. We are proud to use recyclable and compostable products at all receptions.
