Why enroll your kids in religious school?
At Rodef Sholom, we’re experts at providing values-based education, and we can help you prepare your children to be fully moral adults.
SUNDAY SCHOOL I grades K-5
We love kids at Rodef Sholom. We love to grow their souls while connecting them and their families to the thriving Jewish ecosystem we are building here. We also value learning outside the classroom walls and work deliberately and strategically to strengthen the connections between school, camp and home.
Our goal is to create a warm and caring environment in which we teach and model skills and behaviors to enable our kids to participate fully in Jewish life at home, in the synagogue and throughout the greater Jewish and Bay Area community.
At each grade level we provide curriculum specifically designed with age-appropriate goals and learning objectives. In addition, students are offered electives such as music, cooking, Israeli dance, and trope (the musical key to chanting Torah). The study of Hebrew is woven throughout the curriculum.
HEBREW | grades 4-6
Fourth through sixth graders study Hebrew for one hour a week during an additional class. Seventh graders have the option to participate in this additional Hebrew study. Students may choose to study Hebrew at Rodef Sholom or regionally throughout Marin County with our amazing Hebrew in the Homes teachers.
We also offer experiential learning opportunities:

Parenting has never been easy—but in a culture that encourages more screen time than face time, how can you make sure that your children stay connected to what really matters in life? Join Rabbis Stacy and Michael as they explore Jewish wisdom on parenting with topics ranging from Jewish values to joy and frustration to navigating technology and more. This program also provides an opportunity to meet other parents for conversation and parenting community.
