New Member - Membership Form

BECOMING A MEMBER

All are welcome here.  Our community includes Jews by choice, parents raising Jewish children, interfaith families and partners, as well as Jews of all backgrounds, ethnicities and sexual orientation.

We are proud that synagogue policy is that no household be denied membership due to genuine financial hardship. The sustaining Membership level established by the Board of Directors for fiscal year 2024 -2025 is $3,980, or quarterly payments of $995, or monthly payments of $332. Sustaining Membership also ensures that our sacred community may continue to thrive, operate seamlessly, and serve all congregants throughout the year.

If you would like to join our congregation please fill out the Membership Form below, or if you have a question about our membership commitment policy, contact our Director of Synagogue Engagement, Moji Javid, at 415.479.3441 or moji@rodefsholom.org

"At the very highest level, human beings innately seek the sacred and each other.  Just by virtue of our humanity, we ultimately are drawn to curiosity about God, connection with the sacred, a sense of life's purpose, and a place to build a life narrative alongside others who are doing the same thing."

The Security and Building Fee is a fee that each member family is required to pay annually to cover the cost of a campus wide Security Director, security team, enhanced security measures, as well as annual upkeep and insurance costs.

TRADITION OF GIVING
We appreciate your voluntary contribution to our Tradition of Giving annual fund. The membership commitment covers only a portion of our synagogue's annual expenses and our Tradition of Giving fund allows us to ensure that no one is turned away for financial need and is the way we invest in our kehilla kedosha, our holy community. Participation is as important as the amount given. A gift of any amount, starting at $18, is deeply appreciated.
