Join Rabbi Stacy and international Muslim activist Soraya M. Deen for an expansive conversation on collective activism, interfaith collaboration, and allyship. We will explore new ways of being in relationship with one another, and how we can best support our community during the heartbreaking days following October 7. Soraya will share stories of Muslims who stand in solidarity with the Jewish people and peace-loving Palestinians, in the face of worldwide antisemitism.

ABOUT SORAYA DEEN
Soraya Deen is a lawyer, Interfaith Consultant, and expert on Nonviolent Communication, Dialogue, Conflict Resolution and Peace making. She is a Fellow and Faculty of the Omnia Institute for Contextual Leadership, working directly with communities and Women impacted by Violent Extremism. She led the first Women’s Leadership Conference to Counter Violent Extremism and Radicalization in North East Nigeria. Soraya also organized the first Interfaith Women’s Leadership conference at the Los Angeles City Hall October 2016.

She is a member of the world famous motivational speaker Les Browns group of Platinum speakers, sharing the stage with renowned speakers and activists. Soraya is also the founder of the Muslim Women Speakers Movement, and Co-founder of Peacemoms (Promoting Christian Muslim /Dialogue). She is a Social and Spiritual activist, Corporate Trainer and a certified Nonviolent Parent Educator.

Soraya is also a Fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute and an Advocate and Fellow of The Sikh coalition.
