The Future of REST and Homelessness in Marin County

About a dozen religious institutions in Marin take turns allowing the homeless to sleep in their buildings. A total of 42 churches, synagogues and other civic organizations participate in the REST program from November through April by preparing evening meals for the people being hosted. Now in its tenth year, the future of REST is uncertain. Join Suzanne Walker, Deputy Director, St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County and Rev. Bentley Stewart, Interfaith Street Chaplain, to discuss the future of this important service.

Thursday, October 18, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
