When a group of white nationalists received a permit for a "Patriot Prayer" to be held on Crissy Field on Aug. 26th, resistance groups in San Francisco immediately began making plans for onsite counter-protest. Thankfully, groups touting peace, and citing the violence in Charlottesville, were quick to react, planning various peaceful gatherings elsewhere in the city.
Today, CRS clergy and congregants gathered at San Francisco City Hall on August 25 to lend their voices to the Unite Against Hate rally, organized by The San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
The work continues. Stay strong.
Sign in the crowd. Our people showing up. MC Hammer puts the hurt on hate.
