8th grade Jewish LA trip - it's time to sign up! We're going on a trip to Jewish LA from December7-9, 2012, and all of you are invited to come along. This is a weekend full of exploring the Jewish community in Los Angeles and what it means to be a part of it. Claire Mikowski, Associate Director of Education and coordinator of our teen religious school program, Midrasha, will be leading this trip. The itinerary for the weekend includes stops at the Museum of Tolerance, Shabbat dinner and services at IKAR, a progressive Jewish congregation in LA, Shabbat morning services at the beach, and a visit with Beit T'Shuvah.
This experiential learning is a great way for every 8th grader to learn about Jewish identity and make great new friends at Rodef Sholom. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and sign up now; contact Claire with questions and to sign up at 479.3441 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
