The first night seder is Friday, April 6, 2012 – please note an important schedule change: Friday, April 6 Shabbat Services will be held at 4 pm rather than 6:15 pm so everyone can attend a seder. More important Pesach-related events and services: I. Passover Hosting Where will you be celebrating the first night of Passover this year? This holiday is a time of sharing and community. Our goal is to make sure that everyone in our Rodef Sholom community has a place to celebrate Passover. We ask that our congregants open their homes on the first night to other congregants in need of a place to observe Passover. Let Moji know if you would like to be a host or to be hosted by March 23. Passover shopping at the Gift Shop The Sisterhood Gift Shop, located next door in the lobby of the JCC, has a wide selection of Pesach-related items for your holiday celebrations: Seder plates, haggadahs, matzah covers, festive candles & candlesticks, afikomen bags, Miriam and Elijah cups, cards and more! Interfaith Freedom Seder, Monday, April 2, 2012, 6:30 pm Jewish Community Relations Council's annual Freedom Seder includes music, poetry, traditional Passover customs and a vegetarian dinner. This seder will be led by Rabbi Chai Levy of Congregation Kol Shofar and Rev. Rob Gieselmann of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. The seder will be held at the Osher Marin JCC and the cost is $25/adults, $20/students, $15/children 12 and under.
